Overview

Participants are active learning partners with other and coaches. Lectures are interactive and project time is driven by the team. Throughout the accelerator, participants will learn and practice a variety of new skills related to entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership. Learn directly from AEI partners, coaches and guest speakers as well as through individual projects and meetings.

Location + Dates

AEI offers several entrepreneurial exposure and development programs for youth and adults. Since 2001, the Institute has served more than 10,000 students, entrepreneurs and leaders.

The AEI Campus is home to the Allen Executive House- a boutique hotel and dormitory, the Allen Conference Center and Miss Rebecca's House- a 38,000 square foot Antebellum style home.  In addition to these classically designed and well appointed structures, we are proud to also boast amenities such as 35-acres of lakes, a natural walking trail, a beach-house style event pavilion and several gazebos.

The entrepreneurs selected for the program will arrive at the Allen Entrepreneurial Institute on Wednesday of Accelerator Week. This intense entrepreneurial training experience will require early mornings and late nights; serious entrepreneurs can expect to work on their businesses well beyond normal business hours.

Cost

$2700*

Participant cost for the AEI Entrepreneur Accelerator is $2,700.  

Through the support of the Allen Entrepreneurial Institute, 30 (thirty) entrepreneurs selected to participate in the Accelerator will also be awarded AEI Fellowships. This distinction provides a partial scholarship for this Accelerator in addition to many other exclusive benefits.

Accelerator costs include lodging at the Allen Executive House - Executive Floor (single occupancy / private room), all meals at the Institute and ground transportation for Accelerator activities in addition to tuition / program fees.

*USD. Covers program and food for the duration of the AEI Entrepreneur & Leadership Accelerator. Please note you will still be responsible for cost of travel to and from campus and to any non-accelerator ground transportation.

Each business and entrepreneur are unique in their needs, assets and goals. As entrepreneurs, ANY time spent away from operating and managing your business must be maximized for optimal return on your investment. Here are a few suggestions on how to prepare for an accelerator:

  • Create a List of Questions & Tasks to focus on at the Accelerator
  • Gather Founder, Shareholder/Investor and Fundraising Info on your company
  • Have Proof of Market Validation and/or a Plan for Acquiring Customers (Sales / Marketing Strategy)
  • Prepare Your Company's Legal Information
  • Explain your technology or business idea in a simple, specific statement.
